Welcome to adolf-hitler-facts.info

The great Adolf Hitler was born on 20th April 1889 in Austria which is a small town in Braunau near German border. Hitler’s parents belonged to a poor family and his father alois Hitler was a son of a house maid but he was very intelligent and very ambitious in his life later on his father became a senior custom official.

Klara Hitler was Adolf Hitler’s mother and third wife of alois Hitler, klara Hitler was 23 years younger  than alois Hitler, klara gave birth to 5 children’s but only two of them survived to became adults (Adolf and Paula her younger sister).

Adolf Hitler was born when his father was fifty one, alois Hitler was very ambitious about his sons life because his another son did not do well in his life and went to jail for some theft .so he wanted Adolf to make his career as bright as his father.  Alois Hitler was a very strict father; he used to hit Adolf a lot on not doing something as he was told.

During the primary school he was very good in studies and everyone thought that Hitler is having a bright academic future and simultaneously he was also famous among the pupils. Adolf Hitler was also admired for his leadership when he was in primary school. Hitler was very religious also at that time it was even assumed that Adolf Hitler will become a monk if properly guided.

During the secondary education the competition became tougher and Adolf’s attitude towards studies was that one should leave studies if he or she is not the topper, Hitler was a stubborn child right from his childhood, and his father was having a high amount of expectation with his Adolf Hitler. However his parents and teachers tried to change his attitude towards the education but they were not successful in this attempt.

Because of this attitude Hitler also lost his respect which was shown by his known pupils. His pupils stopped accepting him as a leader. Adolf Hitler always liked to give orders to his younger pupils; even Hitler liked games which used to involve a lot of fighting and leadership. He always used play a common game where he used is a commando rescuing Boers from the camps of English pupils.

Hitler’s history teacher Leopold Potsch was the only teacher in the secondary school who was liked by Hitler. Many people in the upper part of Austria used to be German nationalist; similarly Potsch was also one of them. He used to tell Hitler the stories of hoe Germans defeated France in 1870 and 1871 and how Germans attacked Austrians for not supporting them in the war. Hitler’s earlier hero was Otto von Bismarck who was the first ever made chancellor in the germen army.

Hitler was not only interested in wars and fights but he was also interested in arts, his father was almost shocked when Hitler told his father that he was having an interest in arts. The conflict between the father and the son ended in 1903 when his father Alois Hitler died.

Alois Hitler died when Adolf Hitler was only thirteen, however the financial conditions of the house was not detonated because they live in their own house and they also received the monthly civil service pension.

Hitler’s mother was a very gentle and a kind lady and she tried a lot that Hitler becomes good in his studies and should make his academic career very bright but her efforts were useless as Hitler continued to bring bad grades in the subjects.

When Hitler was fifteen years old he failed in his secondary exams and he had to repeat the whole year again. Hitler was completely against it and so he tried to convince his mother as soon as her mother agreed he left the secondary school without a secondary qualification. He celebrated this victory by getting drunk and enjoying it, however he felt guilty for it and vowed to never do it again and at the age of thirties Adolf Hitler left alcohol completely.

At the age of eighteen he moved to Vienna by the money he received from his father’s will. in Vienna he moved to become an art student and so he applied in different art colleges, his application was rejected from the Vienna school of arts and he was also rejected from the Vienna school of architecture because he was not having a  proper school leaving certificate.

Hitler was completely hopeless because of these two rejections, he was so disappointed that he didn’t even told his mother that he was not selected and so he continued living in Vienna, he told his mother that he is doing arts from a college.

Klara Hitler mother of Adolf Hitler died in 1907 which was big shock for Hitler; Adolf was very close to his mother and used to share a lot of things with his mother. Adolf used to carry his mothers photo with himself wherever he used to go. And it said that when Hitler died he was having the photo of his mother in his hand.

As Hitler was the eldest child of his father he received all the pension from the civil service of his dad, that money was more than enough for Hitler to carry out his life smoothly, most of his time he used to lie in bed and spent his maximum time in reading books and in the afternoon he used to take a long walk around Vienna.

In 1909 Hitler was not at all interested in joining the Austrian army and he was not willing to support the Austrian military service so he did not answered even a single call letter. Anyhow Austrian government catches him up in 1914 and then he was rejected as he was very weak and army told him that he won’t be able to carry the weight of the arms.

At the time of the First World War Hitler got the golden opportunity of fighting from the side of Germany. And this was the only chance for Hitler to join the Germany side and to show the rest of the European countries that they are inferior to the Germany, Hitler quoted that at this time he literally went on his knees to thank heaven for the special opportunity of his lifetime. At the times of war medical examination used to be very weakly.

Hitler was enjoying his time in the army as he was already fond of wars and fights. He was also not afraid of risking his life, and this attitude of his made him volunteer the risky missions. This was the first time Germany was fighting for a common goal and this thing also attracted Hitler.

Other soldiers who were there in the war with Hitler used to call him the odd and the peculiar as he always used to sit in the corner with his head down. His friend HANS Mend mentioned that Hitler always used to think something when he was not at work.

The job of dispatch runner was given to Hitler in this job Important messages were given by men’s who used to run between the source and the destination. One day among the eight runners five were killed and the Hitler was the only one who successfully transferred the message. This was the first achievement he gained in his life after the primary school.

For this achievement he was given a several number of medals naming the “iron cross”. At the time of First World War Hitler’s commanding officer wrote that Hitler is extremely cold blooded and the time of extreme conditions he managed to transfer the messages which are a remarkable thing.

He was extremely good in the war but he only managed to reach the post of corporal. The reason for this was the fear that the other army soldiers would not have followed his orders as everyone thought that he was a bit strange person.

Hitler once was almost about to lose his sight due to a mustard gas attack in October 1918. Immediately he was admitted in a government hospital and he recovered his sight. At the same time he heard that the German army has surrendered and this news made Hitler a big depression patient and this depression was a very bad one. Hitler refused to talk to anyone and maximum time he used to cry. This time again Hitler’s all efforts were washed off.

Hitler settled in Munich after the war was over. Munich was the capital of Bavaria and the entire Bavaria was a part of the independent socialist party and the leader of the party Lurt Eisner declared Bavaria as a socialist republic. This decision made Hitler to react and also made him to make a revolution. As he was a German he was totally against this decision of the party.

Hitler saw this as the movement of the Jews, because many of the leaders in this party who took the major decisions were Jews and they also did this so that the Jews must get their equal right and they must be treated as the other non-Jews persons. So Jews also strongly followed that the order passed from Russia to vanish all kind of discrimination from the European countries. This message was passed on 10th July 1928.the main person of the socialism was also a Jewish that made Hitler think that this all was a conspiracy from the Jewish people.

On may 1919 German army cane and started finishing this movement in Munich and started killing the people who were a part of this movement and the German army also took Hitler as a criminal as they thought that Hitler was also a socialist, Hitler then proved his words by volunteering the German army identify the other peoples who were in the movement.

Hitler gave the necessary information about the other persons who were involved in the socialism and the other ideas were also very helpful for the army. This impressed the higher order officers and Hitler was recruited as the political officer in the German army, his work was to give political lectures to the army so that soldiers can focus on the war in a better way. And this also helped the soldiers to understand the different politics.

All these years Hitler gave different speeches to the soldiers and he was having number of followers with him. And on the other hand Germany was a no more a power it was been defeated at several occasions. At Versailles Germans signed a treaty where they had to give 13% of their territory and this was a big loss to the nation as more than 6 million men’s, and millions of natural resources were cut off from the German sectors and this made the Germans very weak. Due to this treaty Germans 38% of the total national wealth were dispatched. This was a huge blow to the nation.

Hitler’s isolation state was no longer available. The students who attended his lectures shared their talks and he constantly told them that the defeat was not because of their war weakness the defeat was due to the Jews and the Marxists who betrayed them. He set a mentality that Germans are good on field but they are not having the enough trusted communities to support them.

Hitler was then used by the German army as a spy and in 1919 he was sent as a spy to attend the German Worker’s Party (GPW) meeting. The German army was feared that this party is also like the socialist and they will also ruin the society but Hitler was very happy seeing that the party was not like what they expected and so Hitler was impressed with them. On being questioned about a point Hitler gave a remarkable speech and this speech made every one listen a single word of it.

The main head of the party Drexler was very impressed with the Hitler’s speech and immediately offered him to join the party and later his commanding officer also forced him to do so. On joining the party he was soon offered to join the executive committee and later in the course he was also been offered to be the propaganda manager of the party. Hitler when joined the party he was only fifty-fourth member of this party.

In some weeks Hitler made the progress and he also bought the German commanding officer in the party and this movement if Hitler helped the party a lot. The joining of the officer helped the party to bring some of the money into the party and also some of the political powers which was very much needed for the party.

The party GPW utilized the money in a very efficient way; they used the money to advertise themselves and also used the money for other activities. Adolf Hitler was the main speaker of the party and this practice made him to develop as one of the great orators of this world.

In the starting Hitler used to always come late in his speeches due to this a sense of tension and much higher expectation used to grow among the listeners and Hitler always started his speech when there is a complete silence. Adolf Hitler at first was a bit nervous and he was not also so confident about his speeches but as the time passed away he started delivering speeches at his best, Hitler always gave speeches related to the listeners emotions and this was his best technique to capture the attention and the he was the best orator to control the mind of the soldiers. It was said that after Hitler was done with the speeches he used to go very quickly away from the public so that they always be in a climate of strangeness. His speeches were so strong that after the speech public used to be in a state of hysteria and they were ready to do anything for Hitler. Hitler slowly became the best orator of the world.

Slowly and steadily Hitler became the major reason why people joined the party and Hitler was the main person in the party. Party members and the seniors of the party started to realize that Hitler is the main person and they can’t afford to lose him. And so Hitler’s opinion was always used to be the first priority of the party. Once Hitler suggested to add the name socialist in the party and it was added also, may be Hitler hated the name and the idea of socialism but it was a bit famous word in the Russian empire and the other countries also. The party changed his name to German Social Democrat Party (SDP). And in few years I developed as the major and the biggest political party in the whole of Germany.

Hitler’s definition of socialism was to give equality to the Germans blood only that is why he added the term national before the word socialist. He hated the other communities like the Jews and the other communities. According to him only the German blood is the purest blood of all of them.

National Socialist German Workers Party (NSDAP) on February 1920 published its first ever program which was called as the “25 points”. According to this program the party clearly refused to accept the terms and the conditions in the Versailles treaty. And then the party called the whole Germans to reunite so that the other different peoples and other communities should be forced away from the country, and they will also not be provided with the rights.

To make every German class to join the movement this program contained several benefits like the working class were to be provided with more money and status and they were given share in the war profit and different other proposals were made to attract them.

NSDAP which was later named as the NAZI party held a meeting on 24th February 1920 and there in the party nearly 2000 people came to attend the meeting and they were told about the programme and other general information related to the party. The other 25 members of the party also discussed their programme in brief.

Later on Hitler realized that the party was in success just because of his orator skills and then he decided to go against the leader of the party Anton Drexler. Hitler demanded to be the new leader of the party. At first Drexler denied the proposal and later accepted it.

Hitler was really a motivating orator and his skills used to arouse the listeners so much that they went to attack the other politicians and for this reason Hitler was arrested and he was sent to jail for three months on September 1921 for being a part of the mob.

When Hitler came back from the prison he created his own army. His army was made basically to destroy the other political meeting held by other politicians and also to protect Hitler from being attacked by the revenge takers. His army was known as Sturm Abteilung meaning storm section.

Hitler’s army was made up of different members who were specially trained for creating violence. His army was a natural assassin, they were all skilled warriors and they were so much influenced by Hitler that they used to so anything on a single orders of Hitler

The military of Hitler SA used to wear grey jackets and khaki shirts which were being purchased from the German army by the Nazi party, they also used to wear a swastika arm bands and they used to carry a group of musicians with a big flag having a swastika on it. They also used to wear a boot with thick woolen socks and different other things. At March end Hitler made one of the most out bursting speech which caused to outburst the anger in the listeners and they carried an act of violence against the Jews and the other communities.

The violence of the Nazi party followers was growing day by day and they were targeting the socialist and the communist peoples. Nobody was taking action against them so they were in the more power to assassinate anyone they hated and they were also the main the reason that why the Nazi party cane into a bigger power in Germany. Even Hitler suggested them to take action against the other political parties and ordered them to execute the other politicians.

German government was also much tensed in later 1923 when suddenly French army took over RUHR and the workers in reply of that went for a strike and then there was a sudden fall in the German economy and the German economy was badly crashed. This series of events was leading to the rapid inflation and the local Germans thought that their savings are completely worthless.

In the mean time Gustav Stresemann became the new leader of Germany and to settle the dispute of the RUHR case he decided to pay off the reparations to the French government. This was the last decision of the new leader of the Germans. After this Hitler was very upset with the decision and he decided to take over his leader ship and this was the time when he decided to become the new leader of Germany.

On 8th November 1923 the government of Bavaria was holding a meeting with a total of 3000 people attending the meeting and suddenly Hitler and his special army came in and stared firing in air, Hitler also directed the other members to go out and he held the main two leaders with him for a talk and pressed every one out of the meeting.

With the three major members of the Bavarian government he discussed his plans to be the next leader of the Germany and he also offered them superior post in the government and this led the members to make their mind. He also threatened them that if they won’t agree then he will kill them and commit suicide also.

Eric Ludendorff was the head of the German army at the end of the First World War and he also believed that the German army lost the war because of the Jews and the other communities and he used to support the Nazi party a lot. So he also agreed to become the commander and was ready to command the German army in Hitler’s leadership.

Hitler was a bit busy in appointing the different posts to the different ministers and on the other hand Ernst Roehm took a number of storm troopers and started arresting the Jews and the other politicians of the different political parties.

The next day the Hitler and the army went towards the Munich to be with the rest of the army and in the middle of a state Munich police tried to stop them in return they also fired up and 21 peoples were killed and a lot of them were injured. The Hitler’s army was having a strength of 3000 men’s and there on the other side in Munich also storm troopers were waiting to meet the other army .

After the firing started Hitler was on the ground trying to hide him so that he was not killed in the attack and then he lost his nerves and hide himself behind a car. On the other side the Munich police was not so much in number but then also they did a lot of damage. And the Nazi soldiers then also ran away because this was their strategy told by their politicians. It was after said that Hitler ran away to save a child who was badly hurt in the attack and he took that boy to the hospital.

Hitler then went to his friends house to hide but he was then caught and then he was sentenced to jail for a trial and there he was given the punishment to hanged till death, but the Nazi followers in the ministry was also trying to make sure that he was given a minimum punishment for his mistakes and the other Nazi soldiers were also given a little imprisonment. Hitler in the jail always used to talk about the suicide he was so frustrated that he wanted to end his life.

Hitler was only imprisoned for a tome of five years and his fellow members were imprisoned for about more or less than that. Nobody was given the death penalty for their deeds.

Hitler was taken to the Lands berg castle where he was kept for the next five years, here in the castle it was not like the prison it was like a real castle he was allowed to speak to anyone, he was treated well and he was allowed to receive gifts from anyone and he was also allowed to meet his friends and he was always been visited by the journalists and the different party members also. He was also visited by his most loved dog.

When Hitler was in the castle he was allowed to read books of his own choice this was also on of the advantages he used to get in the castle. Most of the time Hitler used to read books dealing with the German history and the philosophy regarding the politicians and he was then influenced by the well known writer naming Henry Ford. His books influenced Hitler a lot and he was very impressed with his work. Hitler also read his books like “ my life and work “ and “ the international Jew” in the books it was written that the Jewish are always trying to make a conspiracy to take over the world and Hitler also like the book because Hitler also think in the same way.

Hitler’s business manager Max Amnan suggested Hitler to write his own book as a biography and should write his own life into that. Hitler was never a good writer from the starting of the primary school and so he was least interested in to this idea of writing books. Later he agreed to tell his story to a ghostwriter and the ghost writer wrote his biography. This all task was done within the jail.

The ghost write Maurice was not a skilled writer and he was basically a street fighter so the job was taken over by the student of a Munich university Rudolph Hess, Hess made the story a bit interesting and tried a lot to prose up Hitler’s idea in to a perfect biography. But the main problem was that the Hitler’s words were very confusing and tangled up , it was not so influencing as it is when he delivers his speech.

The name of the book was finally decided by the Hitler as the “My struggle” or the “Mein Kampf” in German language. This book was a combined mixture of biography and the political ideas and it also contained the explanation of the different techniques of propaganda. The book was mainly a lie because all the information was a bit incorrect and it seemed that the main purpose of Hitler was to build a good image in front of the public. In the book it was also written that he used to live a hard life in Vienna where he used to work and earn his food.

Hitler was even against the existence of the Aryans and the rule of the intermarriage, according to him the existence of the human being is basically based on the rules and regulations we are following from the decades and if that is changed then the whole world will go to darkness again and the world will again be like the barbarian times.

Aryans were having a goal of controlling the whole world by their ideas but this was not an easy task to do, Hitler also knew that with the help of an army this was not going to be easy and this was to be hard for the soldiers also. But he used to give the example of the British Empire who ruled almost half of the entire world with the punctuality and the well maintained society and army.

According to Hitler Aryans superiority was in danger because of the Jewish peoples, Hitler stated them as the low maintained peoples who always waste their time in doing nothing. He also told that the youth of the Jewish society was nothing but a group of boys waiting for the good looking girls and always tried to seduce them so that they can have fun with them. Hitler completely hated the Jewish society and always wanted to remove all the Jewish from the society. He forgot the fact that his liked musicians and some of the well known writers were also Jewish.

Hitler blamed everything on Jewish peoples according to him every bad thing in the society was due to the Jewish community including pornography, prostitution and the modern art also. Hitler blamed that Jewish people are nothing in number but they are occupying the prominent position in the country because of their political support ant the conspiracy they always used to do. Even Hitler accused Jewish people of making Germany loose the First World War. Hitler was completely against them and he wanted to kill each and every Jewish person alive in the world.

Hitler believed that the Jewish people only wanted to take over the world because they were inferior to other communities and they wanted to prove themselves as the superior powers. Hitler believed that the most of the communist party members are the Jews and the combination of Jews and the Marxists was a big hit in Russia so now they wanted to capture the rest of Europe in the same way. This was a full conspiracy in the views of Hitler.

In his book “Mein Kampf” Hitler stated and promised that if he came to power he will occupy Russia and let the Germany lands include the lands of Russia also, because he believed that security is basically because of the land strength. He was also keen to remove the Jewish people and their intention to capture the whole world, his plan was to capture Russia and in the same way the other neighboring countries also. This capture would also let the Jewish people to move out of their territory.

To attain this goal of capturing the land Germany lost during the first world war he planned to make alliance with the countries like the Britain and Italy so that he won’t have to fight in the west and the east at the same time because that would have make the war even more dangerous and more difficult to win.

James Douglas-Hamilton stated very well regarding this all planning of the Hitler that this was a fight to take the land from the weaker countries to the stronger countries this made the expansion . He was very keen on the matter and spoke the right term regarding the Hitler war state.

Hitler came out from the prison on 20th December 1924 and came back to the Germany and saw that the whole scenario of the country is changed. The economic policy was developed and was very successful and slowly the inflation was also coming under control. Peoples started to like the new and the better ideas of the democratic system and so they started hating the extremist ideas of Hitler and other politicians. This was a bad moment for the Hitler as Hitler never expected Germany to act like this.

Hitler tried to control and play over the emotions of the German public and claimed that he is no longer willing to go for a revolution and is just looking for normal elections against the democratic parties.

This policy of the Hitler was again unsuccessful as he lost the elections and he was out of the government.

Hitler after this loss went to live in Berchtesgaden in the Alps of Bavaria. Later it was said the he stated this term of life as the best days of his life here he used to spend his time in walking, reading and talking to other peoples and he also liked to drive his car very fast around the country side roads and this was the time where Hitler started taking serious interest in women.

Hitler like to spend time with the most beautiful women and he was very interested n them he also avoided the company of those women who were interested talking about the politics and later in his life Hitler commented on girls as they are the most beautiful persons and one intelligent man must choose a stupid woman.

This was the major reason why Hitler was always attracted to the younger girls and later there was also a scandal regarding this thing a young girl tried to commit suicide and it was also told that she was related to Hitler.

In 1928 Hitler called his sister Angela Raubal to be his house keeper, and his sister brought with herself her daughter also. At that time Hitler was around 40 years of age. His niece was named Geli Raubal. Hitler was very possessive about her and there was news that one of his chauffeurs was also interested in Geli and due to this Hitler sacked him out of his post. This showed that the Hitler was very possessive about her niece.

Hitler and Geli lived together for two more than two years but her relation was not so smooth because they started to accuse each other go not being loyal to each other and so their relation started to shatter a bit and Geli doubted Hitler over Eva Braun who was a seventeen year old girl and Hitler used to take her for ride in his new Mercedes.

On September 8 ,1931 Hitler went to Hamburg and was very angry with Geli because she wanted to spend some time with Hitler in Vienna  ,but Hitler scolded her and had a very big fight who her and then Hitler went away shouting near to his car and drove away and then later Geli shoot herself with a gun. That was the last time Hitler heard her voice.

Later when Hitler heard the news of Geli he was literally in a mood on committing suicide but then he was rescued by some of the senior officers in the Nazi party. Hitler was very sad about the news and the only impact of the on Hitler was that he became vegetarian as he claimed that eating non vegetarian items remembered him of Geli.

There were several rumors about this mystery death of Geli, certain rumors were there that Geli committed suicide because she was badly beaten by Hitler before she committed suicide and there was another rumor that Geli was pregnant and so she committed suicide. There was another rumor that she was murdered by Heinrich Himmler because of the reason that she was trying to blackmail Hitler. There is still no such strong evidence regarding the death of Geli and this death still remains a big secret.

After Geli was dead Hitler stared dating Eva more frequently and then also Hitler was not loyal he also dated different women on different days. He was really very fond of film stars and used to date film stars a lot. He was engaged to a film star Renate Mueller and it was reported that she also committed suicide by jumping out of the hotel window.

Eva was very possessive about Hitler and she was extremely jealous about Hitler’s other girlfriends and so because of this reason she also tried to commit suicide and she shoot a bullet in her neck but due to some skilled doctors she was saved. After this incident Hitler became more serious about Eva and stopped dating other girls. Hitler was never in favor of having a child of his own as he used to think that his children’s won’t be as intelligent and genius as he is.

The Nazi party always tried to keep this relation of Hitler a secret because in his speeches Hitler always used to say that he is not married because he is married to the German nation and his peoples. After the First World War many soldiers were killed and many wives were widowed and this non married image of Hitler helped him a lot during the elections as these widowed women’s were a great source of votes for Hitler and this is the main reason that Hitler and Eva never came to the public places together.

In 1927 a very rich industrialist Emil Kirdorf meet Hitler and was really influenced by the ideas and the policies followed by the Nazi party. Emil was also a bit worried about certain policies that were written in the party. He was worried about the policy where it was stated that the party wants to redistribute the money among the local peoples equally.

Hitler tried to make Emil understand that this policy is just a strategy to attract the working class peoples in Germany and so this will not be implemented if the Nazis come to the power once. Emil suggested him to write a pamphlet about his economic policies and should distribute this pamphlet among the major industrialist.

Hitler agreed with the idea and started to publish the pamphlet naming The Road To Resurgence and this pamphlet was published in summer 1927. According to this pamphlet it was stated that Hitler was very supporting person regarding the private sectors and he was willing to support them as much as possible. This pamphlet was distributed by Emil himself.

Emil and his rich friends joined the party and they were very attracted to he policies of the Hitler and basically these policies were beneficial for the rich industrialist and this would be the right government for the industrialist to maintain their standard in the country .Hitler once planned to suppress the trade union movement and this news was a great attraction for the industrialist because this would have benefit them a lot. So it became very important for the industrialist that the Nazi party should come into power as fast as possible.

But at a certain time Emil wanted Hitler to remove some of the members of the left wing parties who were in power, but Hitler did not do that so Emil switched his support from the Nazi party to the German Nationalist party which was the party of Alfred Hugenberg.

In 1928 during the German elections, Hitler’s party loosed the elections very badly even worse than the last time but the party began to build up strong as earlier there was only 27000 members and now there was a total of 108000 members in the party.

One if the newest member of the Nazi party was Joseph Goebbels and he was very impressed with Hitler and the policies and the terms the party followed , he was a great fan of Hitler and used to describe the first meeting of his with Hitler as Hitler is like a god for him.

Hitler was a admirer of Josephs ideas and his skills as an writer and speaker and so they together used to plan the motions to win against the other parties. They always used to plan the different ways to impress the German public so that they can come to power as soon as possible.

Propaganda used to cost a lot of money to publish them and this was the only thing that the Nazi party was lacking from and in search of someone rich Hitler even tried to visit many industrialists but the attempt was not so successful as all the industrialist told Hitler that his economic ideas are too left wing.

On order to obtain support from the top industrialist Hitler published an another pamphlet in 1927 naming The road to Resurgence and in this pamphlet he claimed that if the Nazi party came in to power they will not amend and they will not apply the programs will not be taken into actions. Hitler did not publish this pamphlet for everyone he did this for only the major industrialists because this pamphlet would have created a scene of upset in the common people. The main reason for this action was to gain money from the top German industrialists and to be in the power with their help.

Hitler claimed that the capitalist peoples had made their way in to the top on their capacity and hard work and if the communist rule come into play then the whole money and efforts of the individual will be ruined and this will be unfair for them who has worked a lot to gain this power and the money. Hitler’s argument was very crucial and attractive also, so many of the investors were interested in the idea of the Nazi party and they even supported the party financially but then also of the peoples were not supporting the party and they were in favor of the other parties especially the German Nationalist Peoples Party.

At the same time Hitler met a man named Heinrich Himmler and he was very impressed with this him because he was a hardcore nationalist and he hated the Jewish people and he also used to tell Hitler that he is a messiah for the German people and he is the only one who can lead Germany to the way of greatness”. Hitler was very fond of flattering and by hearing these words from Heinrich he decided to promote him as the new leader of his party’s personal savior.

The German economy was growing day by day and the number of unemployed people decreased and so the popularity of the Nazi party and on the other hand communist and the democratic parties were still in demand of the locals in Germany. In another election held in May 1928 all the parties did well in the election and the Nazi party again lost the elections with a greater margin.

The Nazi party got lucky when Wall Street crashed in 1929 October. United states was desperate to increase its capital from the other countries which included the European nations also and this lead to pressurize the Germans, as Germany was heavily dependent on the United States, this led to unemployment a lot and this was a great chance for Hitler and his party to make a mark in this kind of situation in Germany.

Before the event took place there were around 1.5 million peoples unemployed and the number of unemployed people reached to around 4 million by the end of 1930 and this was a big drastic change in the history of Germany. Hitler was considered a fool in 1928 and he always used to say about this drastic economy crisis, but after the crisis came Hitler was respected a lot for the  for his future prediction and this made the common people think that Hitler might know the way to get out of this. This was the only chance for the Hitler to prove that he is always right and in fact better than the other political leaders.

In the general elections held on September 1930 Hitler raised the number of representative of his party and the number grew from 14 to 147 and now Hitler was known as the leader of the second biggest party in Germany.

The democrat party was having some problems regarding to solve the disputes over the number of representatives in the parliament and this party was mainly supported by the other parties to increase the number of the representatives and this was a bad situation regarding the democrat party.

Hitler used this situation on getting a profit from the situation. He accused that the other democrat party is not well established and this could mislead Germany and Hitler and his party is the only way for the Germans to survive in these tuff conditions and for this purpose Hitler and his party went to different states across the country to give speeches and to make the people understand his parties policies.

Hitler was very sharp minded man and he knew how to convince a man, when he was travelling to different states he was very keen on making the people agree that the policies Hitler is following are very good and very profitable for the local public. His strategy was to satisfy every class of the people when Hitler went to the poor class of the people he promised to support the farming and encouraging the irrigation sector, and at the same time when he went to the top industrialists he also promised them to give the profitable deals to them. Hitler was promising everything to every class of the people.

Heinrich and some of the other politicians were very afraid that Hitler and his army storm troopers will capture the power and the position in Germany with the help of his army and the government army was restricted to only 100000 but the storm troopers are 400000 in numbers. The storm troopers were getting violent day by day and their strength was also being increased day by day. So Heinrich put a ban on the army and also he was getting older day by day.

In may 1932 Heinrich was sacked and the new chancellor was elected to his position , his name was Franz Von Papen and he was a supporter and member of the catholic centre party and he was also a admirer of Adolf Hitler and so due to this reason he lifted the ban on the storm troopers . Storm troopers were free after a long span of time so they went on the streets and started their bloody act. They started killing the Jewish people and were even not afraid of anyone.

Franz in attempt to have some support from the government  called another elections in July and this time Hitler and his party was in full form as this time the party was having even a bigger amount of support from both the upper and the middle class. This time the party claimed total 230 seats and the other parties also won seats near to it but on the whole Hitler again lost the election and this was very disappointing for him.

Hitler was very frustrated at that time and he was very desperate having not to be in the power and so he demanded to be made the chancellor of the country but this was not approved and instead of making Hitler the chancellor, the major general Kurt von Schleicher was made the chancellor at that time. This situation was a great upset for Hitler and he was so frustrated that he started to show off his extremist ideas in public speeches.

The behavior of the army made by Hitler was getting bad day by day and they were also being very aggressive and violent, once the Nazi army threw out 57 persons of the opposite party out of the window and killed them almost.

The storm troopers were very violent in their acts and they used every violent step to solve out their missions. They didn’t even used to think about a little humanity and they were also not afraid of anyone. Hitler was supporting every one of the army and they were allowed to do whatever they like, once they killed a man in front of his mother, that man was blinded first with the cue ball and then he was killed. This was the most brutal event anyone has ever heard. Then they were sent to jail and everyone was shocked when Hitler wrote a letter saying that everyone should support the release of those men who murdered the boy.

Events like this were very scaring and so the public of the Germany was scared and then in the later elections Nazi party again lost and the Democratic Party won because everyone was afraid of the rules and policies followed by the Hitler’s party.

Hitler sharply spread news that Germany soon will be going to be under Bolshevik revolution and this news created a sensation among the big leaders and the industrialist also. And Hitler also said that he was the only one who can prevent this happening.

Then hearing the news of such revolution some industrialists forced the governor to make Hitler as the new chancellor of Germany. So the governor accepted the petition and at the age of forty three Adolf Hitler became the new chancellor of Germany.

Hitler was very famous in Germany and so his party. His party never did well in the elections although many rich and well do persons were in touch with this party. The best of all elections which Nazis had was the elections in July 1933, this was the year when Hitler became the chancellor of Germany.

After Hitler became the chancellor he declared that a new fresh election will be held and this time this election will be the last election and the next election will take place after a long period of time. This time was the last chance and there were least chances of the party to come to the power and Hitler didn’t wanted to lose this election and all the well known industrialists were also ready to put in huge money in the elections in support of Hitler.

The interior minister of the party Herman Goering was busy in replacing all the policemen with their storm troopers and they were placed in place of them and there was even a news that more than 50,000 nazi’s were recruited to be In the place of the real police.

Herman Goering then went to the head quarters of the different ministers of the opposite party and raided them and claimed to have found evidences that they were planning to overthrow the government. But this was never proved that there is such evidence present to prove that he was telling the truth. In the same way he accused the communist people that they are planning to spread poison in the milk supplies in Germany.

Many of the ministers of the left wing party and the communist party were arrested and send to the concentration camps lots of them were hanged to death. Hitler named these camps after the British took the name during the Boer war. The other parties who used to hold their meetings were broken up by SA and then they were murdered by the soldiers of the Hitler’s army and then the whole press and the news members were shocked that the other parties certainly vanished.

This was the time that Hitler thought that they will win but then also there was no hope for the Nazi party as in total count they only secured 43.9% of the total seat available and the rest of the parties won with the majority count. The main rise of the votes was mainly from the rural areas of the Germans because they were afraid that the communist party will not be good for them. Hitler was very sure this time that he will win the elections but this did not happened and Hitler was again sad because of his constant failures.

In 1933 failure In the elections Hitler thought of another idea and he issued an enabling bill according to which Hitler will be provided the dictatorial powers but to pass this act Hitler needed at least the signatures of three fourth of the existing government. And many of them were in the refugee camps and the other members were killed or kidnapped. The only problem was the Catholic Centre Party which could have protested against the enabling act suggested by Hitler but Hitler offered them a deal that the party of Hitler will guarantee the rights of the church if they will come to power and if they don’t go against the enabling act. After church agreed on this act, Hitler got the dictatorial powers.

Hitler now became the dictator of Germany and his first act was the to take control of all the trade unions and after this he sent all the ministers and the leaders to the concentration camp and the trade union was placed under the Nazi party .

Now the whole power was in the hands of Hitler and soon he said that all other parties are in illegal state other than the Nazi party and if someone protest or try to create a party will be send to the concentration camps. Peoples were very afraid of the unknown things, every prisoner who was released from the camp was told not to tell the experiences in the camp or they will be again arrested and bought back in the camps. This fear played a big role on the local public and then the Hitler did whatever he wanted to do. He even sacked every party existed.

Only the other party members and the communists were not arrested but the beggars, handicapped persons, and the prostitutes the homosexuals etc. all of them were arrested because they were incapable to work and they were not allowed to be in the state as Hitler was very strict against these kinds of people. Those who tried to escape this camp was killed and at that time killing was only because of this reason as there were no other reasons were left to kill the innocent peoples.

Brandt was ranked as the major-general in Wafen-SS, after joining Hitler's inner circle and was also appointed as the Reich Commissioner for the health and sanitation department.

Hitler by 1934, presented to have full control over Germany, and like the other dictators, the biggest fear which haunted him was being dethroned by others who wanted to have the powers and position he possessed. Hitler to avoid this fear from turning a reality used his divide and rule tactics and also fortified the others like Joseph Goebbels, Hermann Goering, Ernst Roehm and Heinrich Himmler to fight with each other for senior ranks and powers.

As a result, the leaders developed dislike and Roehm the most hated of all, for as the leader of the Sturm Abteilung (SA) he owned deafening power and had the capability to out power and dethrone any of his competitors easily. To bring their plan into action, Goering and Himmler directed Reinhard Heydrich to keep eye on Roehm. And the evidence which came into account suggested that Roehm was paid a sum of 12 million by the French to bring Hitler’s reign to an end.

Hitler on the other hand, didn't believe about what Heydrich said for Roehm's conspiracy for dethroning him. The very first supporter of Nazis, Roehm was responsible for the establishment of Nazism by the army funds which were obtained in the initial period. Also, he played a vital role in the destruction of the opposition during the 1932-33 elections, as a leader of SA.

Hitler although had his own beliefs for which he wanted to remove Roehm as most of the powerful supporters of Hitler had been putting up complaints about him every now and then. The generals were moreover afraid that the SA with its force of 3 million men would overpower the smaller German Army and would succeed in defeating it, thus making Roehm become the overall leader.

The industrialists like Albert Voegler, Alfred Krupp, Gustav Krupp, Emile Kirdorf and Fritz Thyssen who contributed greatly in the funds for the Nazi victory, were also unhappy by Roehms' views on the economy and his making acclamations that the real revolution was still to happen. The other reason which led to the air of disapproval about Roehm's leadership was that many leaders including him of SA were homosexuals.

Hitler being constantly fed by naive information on Roehm's conspiracy and coup by Hermann Goering and Heinrich Himmler became confident about his fear, that SA and Roehm together had the power to overthrow his rule. The 2 secret messengers also claimed that the masterstroke of the entire plan was Gregor Strasser, who hated Hitler since old days. After hearing about Strasser's involvement, Hitler immediately ordered a meeting in  Hanselbauer Hotel in Wiesse, in which all SA leaders were to be present.

Till the time being, Himmler and Goering were busy preparing the list of people outside SA, who they wanted to be assassinated. The list consisted of 3 names, Strasser, Gustav Von Kahr, who in 1923 crushed the Beer Hall Putsch and Kurt Von Schleicher, who was the predecessor for the chancellor throne after Hitler’s' removal.

On 29th June, 1934 Hitler accompanied by SS (Schutz Staffeinel), arrived at Weisse, where he personally apprehended Roehm. Other 200 senior SA officers were also arrested during the next 24 hours, while on their way to Weisse. Most of them immediately shot after being arrested, Roehm due to his past services in Nazism movement was although pardoned by Hitler.  But, the continued pressure from Himmler and Goering forced Hitler to change his mind and agree to the death of Roehm. Hitler first insisted to allow Roehm commit a suicide, but after getting refusals from all, Roehm was shot to death by two men from SS.

Victor Lutze replaced Roehm as the leader of SA, who was a weak man, due to which the SA gradually lost all its powers in Hitler’s' Germany. On the other hand, SS, lead by Himmler grew swiftly in Germany and during the next few years which followed, it replaced SA as the dominant ruling force there.

The SA abolishment remained a secret until Hitler announced it publicly on 13th July. During the speech Hitler gave this purge a name as “Night of the Long Knives”, a popular Nazi phrase. And he claimed that 61 leaders were executed, 13 others who resisted arrest were shot and 3 committed suicide. There were although arguments that in reality 400 people were killed during this purge. During his speech, Hitler also explained that why he did not rely on the courts to deal with this conspiracy of overthrowing Nazism and said, that this time he was the one who was responsible for the fate of the people living in Germany, and therefore he became the supreme judge for the people, and it was after his orders that the ringleaders were shot for their deceitfulness.

A critical moment in the history of Germany was The Night of the Long Knives, after which Hitler declared that he was the highest ruling power in Germany. And had every right to decide whether a particular person will live or die and also had the power to give decision and judge any situation whatsoever.

In the year 1935, Heinrich Hoffman, a photographer who worked for Adolf Hitler was diagnosed for gonorrhea by Dr. Theodor Morell, who was treating him. The new doctor after Hoffman's recommendation then examined the leader of Nazi Party. Hitler, who was at the same time suffering from stomach cramps, which according to Morell was caused by the exhaustion of the intestines in his system, was recommended a treatment consisting of taking hormones, vitamins, phosphorus and dextrose.

On the other hand, the personal physician of Hitler, Karl Brandt, told him to stay alert, as he said that the large doses of the drugs and vitamins were being given to poison him. Hitler not convinced with  what Karl said, pointed out that the precision Dr. Morell has followed in the diagnosis has been truly logical and had full confidence over the treatment he was being given and said he will follow all the instructions given by the doctor precisely because he is the one who told what was actually wrong. Later on he even remarked that he was really lucky to meet Morell, who was like a life-saver to him.

Soon after Hitler started feeling unwell again and now along with stomach cramps also suffered from double vision, headaches, tinnitus and dizziness. Morell started the treatment of intestinal bacteria in Hitler, which was being raised amongst the best stock possessed by a Bulgarian peasant. Morell tested an array of drugs on Hitler; even biological were extracted from the intestines of amphetamines and male animals.

In the election campaign of 1933, Hitler made promises to the public that if he won the election he would work for the abolishment of unemployment in Germany. Being lucky about the fact that the German economy has just begun to strengthen back, when he gained power, the policies he brought into action did help greatly to reduce the problem of unemployment among German population.

The policies introduced, although involved taking away freedom of the employers, as the government has banned some labor-saving machinery from being introduced. Employers thinking of reducing the labor force in their firm were also ordered to take permission from the government. The manual labor companies favored more were given contracts easily when compared to companies based on machineries. The rule, especially applicable to the massive motorway program by the government, made Germany become the owner of one of the most efficient road systems in whole of Europe.

Hitler also brought forward a new rule of abolishing taxation on new cars, himself a great lover of cars, influenced and impressed by the ideas of Henry Ford, said that every single family living in Germany must own a car. He even started getting involved in the designing of “The People's Car”, Volkswagen.

Hitler even encouraged the production of radios on massive scale. Working for people's welfare, he worked not only to reduce unemployment but also saw it as a great way to supply a steady stream of Nazi declaration to the people of Germany.

The Youth unemployment was solved by a scheme which was similar to the Franklin D. Roosevelt’s program run in US as Civilian Conservation Corps, by formation of 2 organizations, Voluntary Labor Service (VLS) and Voluntary Youth Service (VYS). The VYS in turn aided in planting trees, repairing the river banks and helped greatly in reclaiming wasteland.

Hitler also brought down the rate of unemployment by bringing in measures that kept women away from the labor market. He caused dismissal of women in professions like civil services and as doctors and also instead paid them a huge sum of 1000 marks to stay at their own homes.

With Hitler’s efforts, the unemployment rate in Germany fell from a 6 million to just 1 million in 1937. The fact that although remain concerning was the standard of living of all those who were employed did not enhance the same way as it did in 1920s. After the Nazis control over trade unions, wages did not increase as per the productivity curve which led people question about economic policies of Hitler, that became a topic of private conversation everywhere.

Hitler in Mein Kempf made it crystal clear that he had a feeling of deep hatred for all the Jewish people. This anti-Semitism thus proved a hindrance in Hitler’s path, to gain power in Germany. All Jewish business men living in Germany and other parts of the world utilized their influence and powers to prevent Hitler's anti-Semitic ideas from getting promoted.

The Jewish community also organized boycott of Ford cars in 1920s, and even forced Henry Ford to stop promoting anti-Semitism in US. Lord Rothermore, who argued Hitler’s policies through his newspaper, The Daily Mall, also took back all his support in 1930. Rothermore, later that year also told Hitler that all the business men from the Jewish community have withdrawn their advertising from his newspaper which has forced him to toe this line.

After being aware of the power the Jewish capital possessed, Hitler stopped promoting anti-Semitism and stopped making comments on this issue during elections. This later on became one of the main reasons of the German Industrialists contribution in the general elections held in 1933. The change in tactics Hitler practiced was so influential that even the businessmen from the Jewish community started to contribute money to the National Socialist German Workers Party.

After getting the power, however Hitler again began to practice Anti-Semitic ideas. After reading the way blacks were treated and denied all civil rights in the Southern states of America, he too started making life really unpleasant for all the Jewish people to an extent that they had no option left, but to migrate. The campaign began on 1st April 1933, when all the Jews owned shops were boycott for one day. On that day, even members of SA picketed these shops, so as to ensure the success of the boycott movement.

The hostility enhanced greatly in Germany for the Jews. The decision of not serving the Jewish people by many shops and restaurants clearly sated the boycott. Cards reading the Jewish are not allowed and if Jewish, enter at your own risk could be seen all over Germany. In some parts the boycott took so much hype, that the Jews were even banned from places like swimming pools, public parks from entering and using public transport.

The Jewish doctors and lawyers were banned from their services which were not used by any Germans. Also those employed in civil services, schools, and mass media were sacked from their jobs. The SA member simultaneously adding to the boycott, forced people not to use any goods produced by Jewish organizations. The one example which showed the atrocities German practiced on Jews were the forced selling of NSDAP, the leading publisher of books, newspapers and magazines in 1934, because of the loss they were suffering by the actions of the SA causing their complete boycott.

As a result many Jewish who no longer could earn a living left Germany. The emigration rate further rose, in 1935, after the Nuremberg Laws on Citizenship and Race came into action. The law clearly stated that the Jews could no longer stay and marry in Germany and had to leave the place soon.

The pressure further intensified on Jews to immigrate. The Nazi leaders like Hitler, Goebbels, Joseph and Heydrich made a new program take form, which made the emigration compulsory. The crystal Night which took place on 9-10 November in 1938, brought a fired reaction among the German people by the news which said that a German diplomat had been murdered by a Jewish refugee living in Paris, the whole event presented by NSDAP acted like triggering the fire of hatred more intensely.

The crystal night which took place, led to the destruction of 7500 Jewish shops and 400 synagogues. 91 Jews were killed and around 20,000 were sent to the concentration camps, which until now were only for political prisoners. The people who were punished for the crimes they committed on the crystal Night were the members of SA, who tried physical atrocities on the Jewish women and were found guilty of breaking the Nuremberg law which considered intercourse between Jews and Aryans a crime.

The number of Jews wanting to leave Germany increased dramatically after the incidence of crystal night. The reports even showed that during 1933 to 1939 around 250000 i.e. half the Jewish population left the country. This even included many Jewish scientists who on the other hand were attributed to play significant role in the fascism war that was to take place. The unrestricted nature of anti-Semitism, although led fewer Jews to emigrate because like Germany many other countries refused from taking them into their territory.

After getting the power, Hitler now started to negotiate that how he could expand the existing territories he controlled. Hitler from his readings and assumptions acquired that the main threat to his dream of Germany was by Britain who at present was dominating the whole of Europe.

Britain in 1930, still owned powers which made it capable to cover quarter of the world. Britain since the past was known to act quickly against any country or empire that threatened or even tried to take form as the main power in Europe.

Hitler respected and appreciated Britishers’, for he believed that they shared many similar qualities with Germans. In the Mein Kempf, he even declared that Germany in order to achieve the objectives of foreign policies must form alliance with Britain. He even wrote that no sacrifice was too big, as far as it laid path to make friendship with England.

During the first few years of his rule, Hitler attended many meetings with British politicians and diplomats. During this phase he also got the idea, that the terms which the Treaty of Versailles read were far too harsh on the countries those were defeated and Britain could declare war on Germany if they ignored what Britain said. Hitler also became aware of the fact that Britain had a very powerful dislike of communism and feared and imagined a Europe ruled by Soviet Union.

France on the other hand more committed to the Treaty of Versailles, as per Hitler’s calculations, was against taking actions on Germany without the support of Britain. Hitler thus realized that he was at a strong position. Hitler also felt that he was now ready to make a move, after getting acquaintance from Franklin D Roosevelt, the US president that US will not interfere in the disputes going on in Europe and both Italy and Japan had the right to show sympathy for Germany.

Hitler then in October 1933, withdrew from the League of Nations, and said that he has done this because of the failure of the disarmament issues. Hitler even argued that according to the Treaty of Versailles, Germany was a weak military force. And it was also said that Germany was ready to keep to the state of affairs, if other countries practiced disarmament. As this did not take place in reality, Germany was now provoked to take an action for her protection.

Hitler now started trebling the size of the German army and also completely ignored the weapon restrictions put forth by the Treaty of Versailles, in the months that followed this. Hitler then in 1935 strongly gained confidence to introduce military conscription in Germany, after not being charged guilty of going against the Treaty of Versailles.

Hitler not too sure of how far he could actually go, was constantly seeking for ways to know that under what circumstances and to what extent Britain and France were to break war on Germany. Hitler was although heartened when the army led by Benito Mussolini was allowed in Ethiopia, in 1935 without putting in any serious political interventions.

Hitler quite aware of the fact that both Britain and France were far stronger in military force than Germany became convinced that these two great powers at present were not ready to break in any war. He thus, made another move by sending his troops to Rhineland leading to the dishonor of another aspect of the Treaty of Versailles.

The generals of the military forces were but against the plan of Hitler and claimed that the French army was sure to win the military conflict that was sure to take place after this new action. Hitler completely overhearing what others said gave orders to the 3 German battalions to march in Rhineland on 1st March, 1936.

The French government horrified by German military action, was although unwilling to break into any war unless they were supported by Britain. The British government however not interested in going for any war, justified Germany's action by commenting that, they were just marching into their backyard and nothing else.

Hitler’s plan showing colors of success now made him gain confidence of his plan to take over Austria. In February 1938, Hitler then invited the Austrian chancellor, Kurt Von Schuschnigg, to meet at Berchtesgarden.  Schuschnigg after refusing for the concessions demanded by Hitler for the Austrian Nazi party was taken over by the leader of the party, Arthur Seyss-Inquart. And on 13th March, they invited Germany to occupy Austria and made Austria a part of Germany.

After getting success in Austria, Hitler now started to make plans to take over Czechoslovakia. The territory which was previously a part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, was made a country in 1918 and along with 2 million Slovaks, 450,000 Ruthenians and 700,000 Hungarians, there were more than 3 million people living in Czechoslovakia, who spoke German.

Although Czechoslovakia was never a part of Germany, but these people living here addressed them as German because of the language they spoke. Most people resided in Sudetenland a border of Germany, and also these people complained that the Czech- dominated government practiced discriminations among them. And the people, who lost their jobs here, said that they will lead a better life under Hitler as what they were living in presently.

Hitler all set to march into Czechoslovakia, was warned by his generals not to do so because of the strong army and mountain defenses the country was protected with. They even remarked that if the country gets a support from Britain, Soviet Union or France, it would get powers which will be very hard to defeat. One group even was planning to overthrow Hitler if he disagreed to their advice on the declaration of war on Czechoslovakia.

The British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain met Hitler on September 1938, at his home in Berchtesgaden, Germany. Hitler in his meeting said that they would invade Czechoslovakia, if Britain did not agree to support Germany in the takeover of Sudetenland. The British Prime Minister after discussing the whole thing with Eduard Benes (Czechoslovakia) and Edouard Daladier (France) informed Hitler that what he expected from them was totally and completely unacceptable on their part.

Hitler now finding himself into a tough situation also realized that France and Britain were totally against war just now. He also somehow thought that these two countries will not join forces with Soviet Union, whose western democracies; the communist system had more hatred for, in comparison to the fascist dictatorship of Hitler.

Hitler then received a suggestion from Benito Mussolini of holding a four-power conference with Britain, France, Germany and Italy was one way of solving this great issue. Excluding both  Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union, would help Germany get  a more better picture of the solidarity cropping up against it and also a way to come to an agreement as to settle the issue.

The meeting which was held on 29th September in Munich, which was to avoid war and accept alliance with Soviet Union and Joseph Stalin, in this Edouard Daladier and  Neville Chamberlain agreed on Germany about having Sudetenland under its possession. In return of which Hitler promised them on not making any more territorial demands in Europe.

Followed by the meeting, the Munich agreement was then signed on September 29th, 1938 by Edouard Daladier, Benito Mussolini, Neville Chamberlain and  Adolf Hitler, and thus Sudetenland became Germany owned territory officially now.

The Czechoslovakia's head of state, Eduard Benes, disagreed by the agreement protested against it, but Neville Chamberlain made it clear to him that Britain was not willing to go for any war over the Sudetenland issue with Germany.

The German army thus, took over Sudetenland on 1st October 1938, although the area protected with mountain fortifications from all side, wasn't able to defend herself by showing any further aggression against Germany's army marching into their territory.

From the meetings and conversation Hitler had with Neville Chamberlain, he was forced to believe that this man was totally against war by all means as he was completely aware of the destruction and loss this modern war if took place would bring. Chamberlain also feared that the war, if took place would weaken all the Western European countries to an extent which would make them all easily vulnerable to a communist takeover. Seeing all this Hitler commented Albrecht Haushofer that he does not think that Chamberlain is dangerous by any means, as the word war itself is enough to shake him with fear. After hearing the comment Hitler made, Haushofer told Fritz Hesse, that Hitler was now totally convinced that he has the power to do anything. Thinking again over what he has thought initially, Hitler now thought that his belief of acquiring the maximum armament was impartial as the 4 powers surrounding him were all totally against the menaces a war could bring.

Hitler now started to make plans about the next big move after being convinced by the fact that Britain and France will not interfere until and unless Germany headed towards Soviet Union. The next choice as per the agreement of Treaty of Versailles was obviously Poland, which was in the east and consisted of areas already taken over by Germany. Hitler now started to make demands of bringing back Danzig and Germany given an access to East Prussia through Poland.

Neville Chamberlain after seeing the moves Hitler was making, now changed his tactics and started convincing Hitler that he would now go on war if Germany did not stop invading other countries further. He even made a speech in the House of Commons that if Germany attacked Poland, they will support Poland completely against Germany. The British government also sent diplomats to carry on talks with Joseph Stalin about making alliances and together working against Germany.

The British government still not certain about signing an agreement with Soviet Union on military forces, during their hesitation and thinking were then depressed by Germany getting in signing up the agreement instead. The fascist and communist always enemies, signing up the agreement, took the world by surprise. However, even after all this Stalin and Hitler agreed to compromise again on short term and was opportunistic about this incidence.

Followed by this a group of people from the concentration camps, in August 1939,  who were dressed like polish soldiers were shot and placed inside the German border. Germany seeing what was happening saw that Poland was all set to invade Germany and aware was about to happen. The German army was thus ordered into Poland on 1st September.

Hitler was surprised when Chamberlain declared war on Germany, for what he thought was a series of localized war turned into a massive scale one now. Even after seeing all this taking place, Hitler found it difficult to believe that Britain will agree to settle on any peace agreement during the period in the first few months of the war.

During most period of the war Hitler remained in an underground concrete shelter in east Prussia where he had his headquarters. From here he controlled all the efforts made by the German war. Being greatly successful in the military intervention backed with tanks and air support, Germany easily defeated Poland in a short time of just 4 weeks. The victory of Poland was then followed by occupation of  Norway in four weeks, Netherlands in five days, Belgium in three weeks and France in six weeks. The German armies all impressed and convinced with Hitler's intelligence was really happy about the short victories they had easily achieved under his leadership.

The English Channel proving a hindrance meant that the Blitzkrieg tactics cannot be continued furthermore against Britain. Hitler having great respect for the British navy and air force was also familiar that the forces will bring in heavy casualties if a war took place. Hitler, for whom sea was a very new place, was not too confident about the naval warfare from taking place. And he even told his naval commander-in-chief that he was a hero at land but a mere coward at sea.

Hitler was now hoping that Britain would change minds and at least accept the domination of Europe by Germany. His dream of building a large and widespread German empire was based on the British Empire in the 19th century. Although considered very arrogant, Hitler found that he lacked confidence and powers when it came to making a deal with Britain.

Soon after the defeat of France which took place in June 1940, Hitler now ordered to organize an invasion on Britain to his army and generals. The invasion named Operation Sea lion, was based on an objective of landing 1,60,000 German soldiers there along the coastal stretch of south-east England which stretched over 40 miles.

Soon after, in just a few weeks time Germany was successful in assembling a large armada of vessels, by getting 20,000 barges in Germany, French and Belgian harbors. On the other hand, the army generals were very unsure about the war as they believed that the war would inflict a great damage on their army. Hitler, thus agreeing on their fear, ordered that the war will postponed, until and unless the British air force has been destroyed.

The German air force then began its massive attack on 12th august on the radar systems, aircraft factories and fighter airfields of Britain. During the attack, the radar stations and airfields were all totally destroyed and 24 RAF planes were also destroyed. The attack was then followed by raids on Britain happening every day. This then became the start of what was called- The War of Britain.

Hitler not very enthusiastic about the plans of the invasion of Britain, on October 12, 1940, the action was eventually abandoned. Instead Hitler was more convinced by bringing in night-bombing campaigns to organize the submission of Britain into a batter.

Frustrated by the lack of success over Britain which was taking a very long time, Hitler now started concentrating all his attention on Eastern Europe instead. And Germany after defeating Poland started to share a frontier with the Soviet Union.

Hitler during this time made numerous speeches, including in Mein Kempf that the German people needed, more space to live and sustain life. The lebensraum policy by Hitler was mainly directed to the Soviet Union. Hitler in turn was especially interested to develop a German colony in Ukraine. The new system which was based on the occupation of India by Britain, read similar facts that what India was for England, Russia was for Germany. He said that the German colonists should live life in handsome, spacious farms and the German services must be lodged in marvelous buildings and the governors must live in palaces. He also said that for Germans it was a necessity to constitute a closed society amongst them which must be like a fortress. He said that the stable-lads in here will be more superior to all the natives.

Hitler now moved to force Swedes, Norwegians and Danes to move to the territories in east. He even firmly believed that the Blitzkrieg tactics which were functional for the other European countries will not be a success against Soviet Union, and said that Soviet Union due to its enormous size, would take much longer than the other countries to get defeated.

The response that Stalin showed for the defeat of France was seen by sending Vyacheslav Molotov to Berlin, in the summer of 1940 for discussions. Molotov who was instructed to draw these talks for a long duration, for Stalin knew that if Hitler did not launch an attack on the Soviet Union in the summers of 1941, then he would have to wait one more year for this to take place and said, that no one not even someone as harsh as Hitler, will invade the Soviet Union in the winters.

Germany army now in a strong negotiating position, found it almost impossible to agree to the demands of Hitler. As soon as the talks surfaced, Hitler ordered his forces to start preparing for the Operation Barbarossa. The plan which was based on starting the invasion on 15th may, 1941, made Hitler believe that this would give sufficient time to the German army to take control over another country before the harsh winters in Soviet Union start.

The Hitler’s plan of attacking Soviet Union consisted of making a three way attack, in the north from Leningrad, in the south towards Kiev and in the center towards Moscow. The German High Command although unsure about the plan, stated to concentrate on Moscow which was the main communication center of Soviet Union. Hitler but rejecting what others believed, said that the German army had the power to get success in his plan of three way attack before the winter sets in.

The Hitler’s plan of territory capture in Soviet Union was also disagreed and Himmler's SS was to take control rather than the army rule. The SS on the other hand were instructed to erase all aspects of communism in Soviet Union. They were instructed that the communist officials should be executed and as all Russians were sub-human, the convention of behavior which was practiced against the captured soldiers was not applicable. The reports also read that only during the first year of invasion, more than a million communist were executed by SS. The senior officers showed objections on both tactical as well as humanitarian grounds. They also argued that the knowledge of facing death or torture would in turn encourage the Soviets to continue the war instead of opting for surrender.

Hitler as always was unwilling to listen what others said, and was not taking any disagreement the advisers showed and dismissed all of them. Of all the 17 field-marshals, only one managed to keep his post throughout the war. 36 colonel-generals were also involved in the advisory committee that helped Hitler during the Second World War. Of these 36 generals, 26 were executed. And seven lost their lives in action, so only 3 managed to keep up throughout the war.

The unwillingness Hitler followed in listening to what others said, which moreover could lead him to change his mind, caused him several problems during the war. This especially could be seen in the consequences he faced in Soviet Union, where war took place, when he ignored warnings about bad weather and poor road conditions prevailing there. Instead of all the other information, he only showed trust on the low morale of the Red army, and thought that they would rather surrender than carrying out a long struggle with Germany. Hitler being very confident about the success he was to achieve, sent his army in Soviet Union with armament which was enough to equip only a summer campaign.

Initially showing great success, the German army defeated cities like Riga and Kiev quickly. The heavy rains however proving a hindrance stopped the army from progressing further in October. The Germans advancement was further halted by the heavy snow in November and December. Hitler on the other hand not agreeing to take suggestions was not convinced that the German army should opt for a tactical withdraws.

After defeating Poland, Hitler still had another 3 and a half million Jews under his control. And from time to time talks were held to deport all Jews to Madagascar or to keep them confined in a small area in Poland.

The number of Jews which were controlled by Hitler further enhanced as the German army progressed more and more inside Soviet Union. In Soviet Union at this time more than 2 million Jews were residing in areas which were under German occupancy. It was during this time that Hitler recognized “the final solution”, when the SS members were simultaneously rounding up the Jews living in Soviet Union.

Joseph Goebbels in 1942 wrote about Hitler’s plans in his diary saying that, the Fuehrer was determined to clean up each and every Jew living in Europe after which not much of them will be remaining. About 60 perfect of the Jewish population here will be liquidated and only 40 percent will be left to be employed as forced labor.

To further deepen this extermination program, several units from SS were set, which were controlled by Heinrich Himmler. Initially the victims being shot, a more personal method was later adopted for as the high proportions involved in the assassination suffered from serious nervous breakdowns.

More than 5 00,000 Jews living in Poland and Russia were killed in the beginning of 1942, under the SS action. At the Wannsee conference, which was held in January 1942, Heydrich put forward the question of what had to be done with the large population of Jews living in the concentration camps at Germany. Also attending this meeting were people like Adolf Eichmann, Heinrich Muller and Roland Friesler.

Those attending the meeting then came to a conclusion which was called “the Final solution”. From that day onwards the extermination of the Jews became an organized systematic operation. After this date there were camps for exterminations established in the east which had the capacity to bring out large scale executions including, Sobibor (20,000), Belzec (15,000 a day), Majdanek (25,000) and Treblinka (25,000). It was also estimated that 18 million Jews were killed between 1942 and 1945 in the extermination camps. The historians on the other hand estimated that five to 11 million were executed.

Hitler never showing any signs of remorse for the large scale execution he was carrying out was only sad about the execution of Ernst Roehm. It has also been said, that Hitler was happy to hear the sufferings Jews faced when Joseph Goebbels narrated them to him.

Hitler was also not concerned about the Germans who lost their lives during the war. Later in the war when he saw that all chances of the victory have diminished, he gave orders that resulted in the execution of thousands of German soldiers unnecessarily. When commanders refused to follow what Hitler said, he commented that he was not at all regretted for the orders he has executed and that the guilty conscience was there only due to the Jewish invention.

Later when the Second World War started, the US President Franklin D. Roosevelt, made announcement that the United States will not favor anyone in the war and will remain neutral on this issue. Although being personally hostile to Hitler’s dictatorship, but he was always aware that the American people had no intentions to get involved in this war. In turn, Roosevelt also arranged supplies and loans for Britain which enabled her to continue fighting the war more easily.

Hitler now all set to force the US to fight was sure to make this happen but only once he took control over Europe. He also gave strict orders of not firing on any ships carrying American passenger to the German submarines and navy. He also made attempts to persuade the Japanese allies to launch an attack on Soviet Union, and insisted on leaving the US alone. They although ignoring what Hitler had said, on December 1941, the Japanese air force attacked Pearl Harbor and declared a war on the US.

Hitler, unaware of the Japanese plans was very infuriated when he first learned that the United States was being dragged into the war. Hitler who earlier added the term “Honorary Aryans” with the Japanese emphasized on the ill effects of his allies not being Anglo-Saxons.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt did not talked about Germany in his dramatic speech, though he did confirmed war on Japan. Hitler could have postponed the notion of war with United States, if he tried but in order to honor his pact obligations with Japan, Germany Declared that they were at war with United States on December 11. Hitler stated that America is a corrupt land, owing this corruption to the African and Jewish blood and cannot stand for long against the powerful Aryans.

In the second stage of his attack against Soviet Union Hitler made Stalingrad the focus of his attack. Soviet troops had again organized their ramparts and stopped the Germans from advancing further during the 1941-42 winters. Following this in autumn 1942, they counter attacked and surrounded the German Sixth Army by November. Freidrich Paulus, the commander of the German army in Soviet Union asked Hitler’s consent to retreat. But Hitler who was sure that Germany could not be defeated by the Soviets ordered Paulus to Stay and fight. Paulus and the German Sixth Army were defeated on February, 1943. 90000 were taken prisoner, 100,000 were killed, and 34,000 were injured out of the total of 265,000 men.

As always Hitler failed to learn a lesson from his defeat. He also did not took the responsibility of the defeat and blamed Luttwaffe and Hermann Goering for not giving the required support to the Sixth Army. Hitler also stated that the German Sixth Army would have defeated The Soviet troops, had he guided them during the critical stage of the war. He added that he was in a train and could not give direct operation guidance to the army.

The crucial defeat of the German army at Stalingrad was one of the deciding factors in the war. While Germany was on recoil during the remaining days of the war, the Soviet troops were now advancing from the east.

Hitler was a person who had difficulty in accepting defeats. Instead of admitting that he made mistakes he accused all the generals and leaders around of betrayal. As a result he started suffering from depression making his insomnia almost worse.

Hitler’s health began to fall in 1943 and he suffered from headaches, stomach aches, nausea, diarrhea and shivering fits. His acute illness made him totally dependent on Dr Theodor Morell’s treatment. After a heart attack in 1944 Hitler was forced to retire and rest in bed for several days. He also displayed symptoms of The Parkinson’s disease. Dr Karl Brandt was roped in for Hitler and the services of Dr Morell were dismissed.

Due to his illness Hitler was regularly tired was rarely awake before 11:00 a.m. in the morning. After being educated about the latest military news, Hitler assessed the situation and passed orders to the related military personnel. Adding his illness to the German army defeat at Stalingrad, Hitler was hesitant to discuss war issues other than his interaction with the military personnel. He did not want to go through reports that stated bad news. His secretaries were given strict instructions not to talk about war in front of Hitler.

Hitler would engage himself in a long lunch which was followed by an afternoon rest. Orders were not to disturb him when he was sleeping and so he carried on with his sleep even when important events like landing of the allies were taking place in Normandy.

When the World leaders like Franklin D. Roosevelt and Winston Churchill were broadcasting inspirational speeches on the radio to keep up the spirits of their people, Hitler did nothing much to boost the morale of the Germans. He just made five radio broadcasts and two public speeches following their defeat at Stalingrad. Hitler hardly ever visited the front nor visited the shelled areas of Germany. He also did not meet and comforted the injured soldiers of his army.

The German officers were convinced by 1943 that fighting on both fronts would eventually lead to a defeat. They advised that a peace treaty be signed with United States and Britain and then the trio, could draw a plan to defeat the Soviet Union.

Hitler being aware of the fact that the allies would first insist on dethroning him before entering into a deal dismissed this idea. The senior officers thus, decided that the only way to save Germany was to execute Hitler. Seven attempts were made to execute Hitler in 1943, but none of them were successful.

Of all the attempts to kill Hitler the most dramatic was the July plot. On 20 July, 1944 during one of the main military conferences Colonel Claus Von Stauffenberg tried to kill Hitler by using a briefcase with a bomb inside, hidden under the table .The explosion leaving four people dead and ten critically injured could not execute Hitler who got away with minor cuts and burns.

In the following months no one involved in this conspiracy to kill Hitler were spared. Carl Goerdeler, Wilhelm Canaris, Ulrich Hassell, Julius Leber, Peter von Wartenberg, Hans Oster, Ludwig Beck, Henning Von Tresckow, Erich Fromm and Erwin von Witzleben were all either executed or forced to commit suicide with the forced part staying out of light.

According to estimation 4,980 Germans were slaved after the July Plot. Slow death is what Hitler decided for the leaders. They were mercilessly suspended like meat from meat hooks with a piano wire along their throat. The entire execution scenes were filmed and shown to all leading members of both the armed forces and NSDAP.

General Erwin Rommel who was then Germany’s most well known military leader was also a suspect in the July Plot according to Hitler. But sensing the immense popularity of Rommel and fear of a unrest, Hitler did not want him to be executed for treason, Rommel was thus forcibly made to commit suicide and his death was being contributed to a heart attack.

Following an invasion by the Soviet Troops in January 1945, Hitler had to abandon his command center in East Prussia and move south to Berlin. His mistress Eva Braun soon joined him in Berlin. Hitler was of the view that both The United states and Britain would declare war on the Soviet Union and his beloved Nazi Germany would be unharmed. Hitler told his general that how in the entire history coalitions have broken sooner or later. He was right, United States and the Soviet Union did enter into a conflict but after the war ended and unfortunately it could do him no good.

By this time Hitler looked much older for his fifty five years. With his grey hair, bent body and feeble voice he resembled an old picture. He also faced trouble in walking. His eyesight had become so weak that he could not read anything without his special lenses not even the documents typed on his ”Fuehrer typewriter’.

Hitler suffered from a nervous disorder whenever he suspected danger. This disorder first occurred during the World War I and subsequently in 1923 after the letdown of the Munich Putsch. Hitler suffered from a tremble in his left leg and arm owing to this.

People who saw him in few months were stunned by his outlook. One man said that he presented a grisly physical image. His upper body part was arched and he took very slow and painful steps as he walked the distance of approximately fifty or sixty yards from his bunker to the living room. A person accompanied him and he often had to hold that person for support or sit on the seats along the wall if anyone stopped him at some point in this short walk. With saliva dribbling along the edges of his mouth he presented a very dreadful and piteous view.

Herman Goering and Heinrich Himmler both considered of overthrowing Hitler. According to one plan Himmler was to arrest Hitler and make an announcement telling German people that Hitler retired following a falling health. But their foremost concern was entering into an agreement with both The United States and Britain to prevent the Soviet Union from occupying Germany. German leaders not only feared the obligation of Communist Soviet Union but also the soviet soldiers who wanted a revenge for all the war crimes staunched on their people, (according to an estimate of the five million soldiers taken into custody by the Germans, almost three million were killed or left to die of hunger).

With the advancement of Soviet troops in Germany Hitler was suggested that he should make an effort to escape from Germany. But Hitler had heard stories that how the Soviet soldiers were planning to put him in a cage and march him through the German streets. Fearing this captivity and humiliation Hitler gave the idea of running and decided to execute him.

Hitler married his mistress Eva Braun Two days before committing suicide. That night Hitler tested his Cyanide pill on Blondi, his pet Alsatian. Braun now his wedded wife also planned to end her life as she chose not to live without her husband, Adolph Hitler.

Eva Braun would have become a millionaire by writing about her life with Hitler if only she had not committed suicide with Hitler.

When the Soviets were just a 300 yards away from his underground bunker, Hitler still issued orders to his troops to fight heroically till death and to finish any commander who turned his back and retreated. He did all this when he knew that he was on verge of a defeat.

On 30th April 1945 after signing a will to give everything to his beloved Nazi party and Saying Farewell to all, Hitler and Eva Braun took Cyanide tablets in a private room. Hitler also shot a bullet in his head. After cremating his body His ashes were secretly buried in The Chancellery gardens.

The Berlin wall now Overshadows his place of burial symbolizing that his desire to expand Germany ultimately became responsible for its division into two.

Hitler wanted to destroy Communism, but owing to his actions whole of Eastern Europe and half of Germany were affected by communism. Jewish population whom he so mercilessly tried to destroy stood up as strong force in world politics by forming their own state.

Hitler perished leaving a shattered Europe. His entire rule had a warning for the future highlighting the Obscenity of Racial prejudice, the harm forced by nationalism and most important the need of democracy. Endowed with a promise for a better future the lesson learnt by the force which swayed away millions and affected the entire world was in all sense expensive
